It is springtime in San Diego and we are thrilled to report that The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch are officially in peak bloom! They also unveiled brand new tractor rides to help people of all ages see the over 50 million blooms of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus over 50 acres.
The peak bloom typically lasts around two weeks so now is the perfect time for a return or first time visit. The striking wave of color can be experienced daily between 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. through Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 8 but (insider tip)…. mid-week is the best time to beat the crowds and snap that perfect spring Instagram shot.
Single ticket admission is $22 for adults, $20 for seniors 60+ and military, $10 for children 3–10, and free for children under three while season passes are available for $46 for adults, $42 for seniors 60+ and military, $20 for children 3–10, with group tours also available. - It is the final day of our season for Mom’s special day. The stage will be filled throughout the day with the colorful dancing of the Rancho Buena Vista High School’s Ballet Folklorico. Close out the day and the season with an exciting performance by popular Blues musician, Bill Magee!
