Glamping at New Mexico Fly-Fishing Lodge

Forget about the sleeping bags and pop-up tents this summer and head to Brazos River Lodge offering the ultimate, all-inclusive glamping trip featuring sole access to nearly 5,000 acres, unlimited catch-and-release fly fishing lead by expert guides and a private gourmet chef.

A stay at this New Mexico ranch located just two hours north of Taos and three and a half hours from Albuquerque, gives guests the rare opportunity for private access to thousands of acres of wildflower-rich meadows, a four-mile stretch of the legendary Brazos River, two lakes and forests of ponderosa, Douglas fir, blue spruce, oak, conifer and aspens.

Upon arrival at Brazos River Lodge, guests are greeted by their expert fly fishing guides who supply all of the equipment and gear to lead private fishing adventures through the river’s headwaters, known for producing record-class wild brook trout, rainbows, cutbows, German browns and cutthroat trout. From first-timers to experienced anglers, excursions are tailored to each guest’s skill level and sightings of trophy bull elk are a daily treat along the river.

After a day of private exploration along the Brazos River, guests retreat back to an upscale, six-bedroom mountain lodge tucked within the ranch’s sprawling wilderness. A stay at the lodge includes a private chef who prepares gourmet meals and snacks daily using local and indigenous ingredients, whenever possible.

Now accepting group reservations for the 2018 fly fishing season that opens June 15 and runs through August 15, Brazos River Lodge is offering an all-inclusive getaway package to summer travelers.
